James Corden Voices Mick George's New Radio Campaign on Heart Radio

james_cordenMick George Limited recently launched its brand new 12 month skip advertising campaign on Heart Radio, featuring the distinctive voice of Gavin & Stacy's very own "Smithy", aka James Corden.
 
The series of seven adverts which are a tongue in cheek reference to Mick George striving for global domination in everything it does, reflecting its own commercial successes in skip hire, waste management and earthmoving services. As he is dominating the headlines, TV and more recently the music charts, we thought who better to feature in the adverts than James Corden. Heart radio contacted his agent and he jumped at the opportunity to work with another successful company.
 
We were trying to think of fresh new ideas to advertise the skip hire division of Mick George Ltd explains Jon Stump (finance director) and all agreed, albeit a necessity when required, a skip is hardly something to get excited about. It is after all 'Just A Skip', you can't fly in it, you can't wear it, you can't drive it and it hardly gets the pulse racing when it is delivered on to your drive, but from time to time we all need one. This is where the idea originated from, the Heart creative team then got to work and after much brain storming came up with the fantastic scripts, the first of which has recently been launched on Heart FM.
 
All of the adverts will be featured on 3 of Heart Radio's broadcasting regions, Peterborough, Cambridge and Northampton throughout the day for the next twelve months.
