The Yellow Bellied Skippers Go Dragon Boat Racing
Sixteen members of the Mick George team swapped their telephones and order pads for oars to paddle up the river Nene on Sunday at the Dragon Boat Festival in Peterborough. Glorious weather brought out the crowds to cheer on the 52 teams that entered to raise money for Peterborough SportsAid Foundation and other good causes.
Jolene Vinn crew manager commented ' As it was the first time the Yellow bellied Skippers had entered as a team we didn't expect to do very well so we wasn't surprised when we heard we had come in 22nd, but we all had a fantastic day and raised money for charity at the same time which is what the event is all about'
