Fully fledged Transport Managers

Congratulations are due to Victoria George and Joe Gossage, both of whom have successfully completed an intensive 10 day course run by the Road Haulage Association to earn a Certificate of Professional Competence in Transport Management (Road Haulage).

Holding a CPC is an essential qualification required by law for anyone wishing to operate vehicles. Obtaining this qualification demonstrates the professional competence of the owner operator or transport manager responsible for the control of vehicles or of anyone applying for an Operator's Licence. The qualification covers an array of subjects including; management and law, health and safety and logistics planning.

To gain the CPC qualification, both candidates had to sit formal examinations and successfully complete a case study as part of the examination process.

“This opportunity has enabled not only both Joe and I to develop professionally but also allows the company to grow and expand”, explained Victoria George.
