Peterborough City Hospital
Mick George Limited was a key supplier in a new flagship city hospital for Peterborough. The project delivered a new 612 bed four-storey City Hospital at Bretton Gate in Peterborough. Plans to create a new 'super hospital' to replace facilities at Edith Cavell and Peterborough District Hospitals began back in 2006 and took 5 years with an estimated project cost of £300m.
For this prestigious project Mick George Ltd were contracted to:
- Provide demolition of the old Edith Cavell hospital buildings and tasked with clearing the site of waste
- Management services and provision of skips for waste produced during the construction phase of the new hospital build program
- Support of groundworks required for car parks and roads for new site
